Assent, Reject, or Withhold
Three honest answers exist. Most of us use only one.
Skill in training: Practise all three responses, especially the disciplined third: epochē, suspension.
The Situation
A colleague forwards a claim about a mutual acquaintance. It is plausible, unproven, and unflattering.

To withhold where evidence is incomplete is not weakness. It is precision.

Find one claim today you cannot verify. Say plainly, to yourself or another: I do not know yet. Record how it felt to leave it open.
